Our team combines cultural production, youth engagement, community facilitation, and operational care so local participation can keep growing with trust.
Collective Practice
Eight people, one shared commitment to cultural belonging.
Each team member works across programs, partnerships, and public moments in Helsingborg. Together they shape environments where residents can enter, contribute, and see their own experience reflected in the cultural life of the city.
How We Work
The team is organized around care, production, and public access.
Gryning keeps a small core team so decision-making stays close to the neighborhoods we serve. Programming, communication, volunteer support, and partnerships are planned together, which lets us move quickly without losing accountability to participants.
That structure also means every team member is visible in the work itself: hosting workshops, meeting partners, preparing materials, and making sure first-time participants feel expected rather than accommodated.
Ingrid Jonsson
Executive Director
Ingrid steers Gryning’s long-term partnerships and keeps the association grounded in civic trust, artist collaboration, and transparent local leadership.
Malik Andersson
Program Producer
Malik designs workshops and public gatherings, translating community ideas into formats that feel welcoming, practical, and artistically ambitious.
Elin Berg
Youth Engagement Lead
Elin works directly with young participants and schools, making sure youth voices shape both the agenda and the atmosphere of Gryning’s programs.
Samir Khalaf
Community Archivist
Samir gathers stories, photographs, and neighborhood memory, helping residents turn lived experience into shared cultural material.
Nora Lindqvist
Volunteer Coordinator
Nora recruits and supports volunteers, building clear pathways for people who want to contribute time, energy, and practical skills.
David Rahimi
Production Manager
David handles logistics across venues, schedules, and technical setup so events run smoothly without losing their warmth or spontaneity.
Sofia Mendez
Communications Editor
Sofia shapes the public voice of Gryning, documenting projects and writing invitations that make cultural participation feel immediate and open.
Johan Ekstrom
Partnerships and Finance Lead
Johan connects budgets, reporting, and institutional relationships so Gryning can grow responsibly while staying accessible at street level.
Shared Values
The team works through reciprocity, clarity, and visible participation.
Reciprocity
Residents are not treated as audiences alone. Gryning builds programs where people contribute knowledge, shape outcomes, and leave traces of their own authorship.
Clarity
The team shares decisions plainly, from volunteer roles to partner expectations, so collaboration stays understandable and trust can deepen over time.
Presence
Team members stay visible in the neighborhoods where Gryning works, because consistent presence matters as much as any single event or campaign.
